Indianapolis Super Bowl 2012 host committee hopes to learn from Dallas

Dozens of members of the city's 2012 Super Bowl host committee and leaders of local agencies traveled to Dallas this week to get a final tuneup before Indianapolis hosts next year's game. Host Committee CEO Allison Melangton told WTHR that members of the delegation will be putting in more than 12 hours per day gathering "incredible intelligence" on how to host the game.
Members of the Indianapolis Super Bowl Host Committee will be do more than watching. Some will be working Super Bowl events and getting some on-the-job training.

Roughly 80 members of the Host Committee and city agencies will be in Dallas, Forth Worth and Arlington, Texas. This is their last chance to pick up what are called the past pieces of a huge jigsaw puzzle we call the Super Bowl.

The Super Bowl creates an unprecedented challenge for public safety agencies, city services, transportation services and the hospitality industry.
